My son's xbox has gotten the ring of death. we sent it to microsoft but they are claiming we have modified the console and voided the warranty and they won't fix it. Typically any electronic device would only need to have a master reset and perform at default settings. Just wondering if this is possible for the 360 and if so how can it be done?
