Since the primary market for these imitation handbags is a demographic that probably couldn't afford an authentic Coach bag anyway, is there really much of an economic impact to the Coach bottom line?
I'm sorry I didn't clarify, I'm not in support of knockoffs.. as a matter of fact, I own a genuine Coach, and don't own any knockoffs. My question is for research for an Economics class I'm taking. I'm fully aware of the social and political impacts of this illegal activity and I in NO way endorse it!
