Can anyone give me pictures of playstation 3 games on standard TV ?I'm considering buying a PS3 but I don't enough money to buy a HDTV so I want to how do PS3 games look on a standard TV.

By a picture on a monitor, you will not be able to tell the difference at all. The only way to tell the difference or quality is to rent or borrow a ps3. This way you can test it on your TV. Pictures on the internet are compressed and lack the clarity to trully tell the difference.

I use my PS3 on a standard TV most of the time and don't have any problem with it. The picture quality isn't (obviously) as good as what you would get on a HDTV, but it still fine.
The drawbacks that I have found are:
- You can't run Linux because the resolution is a bit too low
- On some games (Oblivion specifically) it is difficult to read small text.
- It is difficult to make out detail in dark gaming environments unless you turn your brightness up a few notches (on my TV anyway).
In short, don't let your lack of a HDTV effect your buying decision. Besides, HDTV prices are dropping every month and you will eventually be able to afford an upgrade.
