Why did the PS3 logo and startup change?The old logo was awesome when you used to hear a jingle with the name 'PlayStation 3' when you started up a game. Why did Sony change it to a bad looking useless one? And the PS3 Slim also doesn't look as good as the original PS3, my brother has it. Why can't they put the old logo on the Big PS3's and the new on the Slims?

Because the SLIM is now there main so they're using the logo for that in all there updates thats why it changed.

Honestly I felt the same way you do, when I first received my ps3 slim I was almost sure it was fake lol. But I guess they decided to go in that directly because of the new slim and they wanted to give it a fresh look. I don't even know why its called the slim it should actually be call a ps3 squashed.
