do anyone knows any thing about the iso loader in the ps3?hi ppl i heard that youcould download games on the ps3 from torrents and stuff by downloading linux and the an iso loader to your ps3 is this true or is it B.S.

im afraid it is BS
you can do this for the PSP
but for PS3 it hasnt been done yet
mainly becuse PS3 games are very big
for example Resistance Fall Of Man is 20 gigs

No it's BS.
1) Games are 20GB in size. It'd take forever to download
2) PS3 harddrive only accepts FAT32. Limit 4gb, so an iso file of that size won't work
3) Isoloader hasn't been created.
4) Definitely wouldn't work through Linux, because access to the RSX is blocked. So even if you could get something to run, you couldn't use the RSX to generate graphics.

It is not true, and if it were and you tried it, you would end up being banned from the Playstation Network and all future firmware updates.
You can play any linux game that will work on the ps3 under linux, but the video accelerator is hypervisor-locked and linux has no access to it. So forget about 3D-accelerated games. I play a few PC games on my PS3 but not 3D-accelerated. And ps3 games themselves have not been ported to linux anyway.
Maybe there will be ps3 emulator for pc's in about 15 years. Until then, forget about it.
As for doing this on psp, mod at your own risk. Besides legal implications, the psp is being more and more integrated into PSN and it would be easy for Sony to give mod-using psp's the ax.
