Do you need this for the ps3 online setup?If you use a WIRELESS router, do you still need the ethernet cable?

if you mean you have wifi, no, you dont need the cable. but using the cable is always more predictable

no you dont. the ps3 has built in wi fi so it will just scan ur house for a router. make sure u know ur router security because that is important

I agree with the other 2 guys who answered. Just look under settings and go to network settings. Just follow the instructions from there.
