I just finished the game now can i start over at the beginning with the same file i just used?I just finished fallout 3 for the PS3 and i want to know if i can continue playing using the same account or if i have to make a new one. or if their is a update that lets you that i don't know about yet.

No, there wont be any update to extend the game after you beat it on the Ps3, your best bet is to do everything before you do the project purity quest and save it for last, because its the last thing you will be able to do once you complete the quest.
