I can't really understand the question. I think you want to know how to fair catch. When the ball is punted make sure you switch to the punt returner. Click triangle before the ball lands to call a fair catch. Alternatively, steal your brothers controller and have him do a quarterback kneel.

It has nothing to do with the system/game. It's your skills that's lacking that you're unable to punt. Please practice more and stop seeking for assistance on matters that's self evident.

To fair catch you must SELECT and CONTROL the punt returner if you are anyone but him the computer will make the catch and never fair catch. Use x or o to select the returner before the snap then hit triangle after the ball is punted and you will make a fair catch. hope that helps :)

you have to select the punt returner before the punt. once the punt is in the air, you press triangle to fair catch.
