I converted a video using ps3 video 9 but every time I try to play it...?

I converted a video using ps3 video 9 but every time I try to play it...?..it starts up, I can see view the file but after a couple seconds it says data is corrupted. Anyone know what the problem is? Can someone recommend a good ps3 video converter? - thanks guys
