PS3 backup?Is there already any way to play backup games on the ps3 in a way that doesn't stop working with the firmware updates? And to play ps2 backups on the ps3? (I own Swap Magic 3.6)

Im not 100% sure about the firmware updates, but I saw on the PS3 online store that you can buy a application to be able to backplay ps2 games.
As far as gamesaving, you'd have to go to GameStop and pick up a ps2 memory card converter thingy (I forgot exactly what its called, but they'll know). You should be set.

No, and there will never be a way that lets you play backup games AND use the internet.
In the future there may be a method of backing up games, but you will have to choose between that or playing online and getting firmware updates.
I doubt there will be a cheap way to backup games anyway. Bluray disks are up to 50gb, so you'll need a huge hard drive to even be able to copy the games. Bluray burners and the disks themselves are also ridiculously expensive. For me, free online play makes buying games worth it.
