PS3 features?I just traded in my Xbox 360 for a PS3 and was wondering a few things...
1. Was it worth losing the exclusives on Xbox?
2. Things that you can't do on Xbox?
3. Was it a good decision?
Thank you everybody.

Personaly Having an Xbox was considirng the same thing. the ps3 is a great system with a great advantage of the blue ray player. the wireless bilt in is also a very helpful feature for online gaming and the online play is almost the same as xbox live and it is free. definitaly a smart descion.

1. In my personal opinion, yes, it was worth it to trade in your 360 for the PS3 and lose the so-called Xbox 360 "exclusives". The reason why I said it that way is because most of the 360's "exclusives" are released on the PC and most 360 games aren't really that "exclusive".
2. Things with the PS3 that you can't do on the 360:
-Play games for hours and hours without worrying about the RROD or hardware failure.
- Surf the Web, Watch Youtube videos, Check your email, etc..
- Blu-Ray capabilites
- Play games Online for Free
-Connect online Wirelessly with Built in WiFi (the only PS3 that didn't have built in WiFi was the 20GB model) and you don't have to spend $ 99 for a WiFi adapter.
- You can upgrade your PS3 hard drive by using any SATA 2.5" Laptop hard drive and you aren't limited to just one hard drive type like the 360 because you have to buy Microsoft's hard drive if you have a 360.
3. Yes it was a VERY good decision because by trading in the 360, you Upgraded your gaming experience. The Xbox 360 has been in the limelight since it was first released pretty much, but as you can see, the Playstation 3 has been gaining ground ever since Sony released the 40GB model and there is LOTS of PS3 exclusives on the way for this year and for the Future.
Here are some exclusives that I know are scheduled for a 2008 release on the PS3:
Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patroits
Haze
Socom Confrontation
Killzone 2
LittleBigPlanet
Motorstorm 2
Resistance 2
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Final Fantasy XIII (there's a good chance that it may be delayed to 2009)
Enjoy the PS3

i have both, and to be honest, it's the same thing. graphically you're not loosing anything. but you are gaining a blu-ray player, which is pretty sweet. xbox has more games out at the moment, but Sony is catching up. you pretty much broke even. but a big plus having blu-ray.

1. The only real exclusive that is worth mentioning is Halo 3 and that game can be considered old in video game standards.
2. You now have access to BluRay, Free online gaming, gain access to PS3 exclusivie (MGS, LBP, Home etc..).
3. Long term, PS3 is the better decision....Xbox has had a year headstart and if you compare the two on equal ground from a time standpoint, PS3 has moved ahead of Xbox in units sold. The # of games available will eventually balance out and surpass xbox..

1.) what exclusives? o you mean by HALO then yeah! nah j/p but yeah it was worth losing the exclusives on xbox since most of them were shooters and ps3 will have a wide array of exclusives way better than 360 has ever have/seen. ps3 rules
2.) the things you can't do on an xbox that you can do is that
you don't have to worry about it breaking on you at all unlike crapbox 360
you can surf the web using the built in web browser
you can actually download a demo, video, or anything in the playstation store while playing a game or watching a video (thanks to the cell processor)
turn it into a computer
and that's pretty much i know, but trust me there are way more.
3.) yes, it was a good decision because xbox 360 was getting old and why the hell would you want to pay for gaming online service via xbox live when you're already paying for your own ISP? its stupid. so yeah it was an awesome decision and you'll come to find out that the ps3 is a console that the 360 will never ever sum up to be.
Hope you have fun!
