Ps3 USB hack does it work and is there a good website that explains it all?I seen the USB hack on the Internet and I'm wondering if it works and if it does can u reset or update your system if u don't wont it anymore and also what version do u need on your ps3 for it to work?

you are referring to the "jailbreak". you need to revert to os version 3.41 to use a special USB device with a programmed micro controller.
just google "ps3 jailbreak" and you'll find lots of information.
it seems to work fine although people reported a few bugs. That is to be expected.
And you must realize there is a risk of turning your ps3 into a big paper weight.
some people use it to pirate games but imho the most interesting uses are superfast load times for games you own and allowing homebrew sorftware like emulators. hello true arcade games! sony is extremely restrictive and this jailbreak potentially gives you back full control over your ps3.
but you sacrifice any kind of PSN access and trophy support. be warned.
