When you install linux on ps3, can you still choose to have the ps3 OS be the default start-up OS?I want to install linux but still have my ps3 boot into the ps3 os when i turn it on, then be able to enter linux from the settings menu or something once I'm there.

yes, in setting choose PS3 os as default
