Will the PS3 slim have problems and is it worth it?have a 360. thinking of getting a ps3 too. is it worth it? will it have problems? is it true it can't be fixed if it gets the yellow light of death and is not under warranty?
1. i don't plan to sell my xbox so don't point out the exclusives.
2. dont say you've had it for a certain time and nothing has happened.
3. just tell me wheather it can be fixed when not under warranty with a yellow light of death.

The slim was made to replace the old ps3 which got the yellow light. Iv had mine for a year and a bit, hasnt messed up once. In no way has it performed sub excellence. Its a great console, greater than the xbox. It has more exclusive games than the xbox and IMO, again, In my own opinion, is a better console.

the ps3 slim has a better cooling fan then the old fat ps3 had and it also has a smaller low wattage processor that can last long in game play

The PS3 slim is worth it. There isn't a yellow light of death or red rings of doom or something. Yes, it still does have problems, but less frequently. I've had my PS3 slim for about a year now and I've only had 5 problems where the PS3 freezes, but it solves the problems itself. When my PS3 froze, it restarted the console automatically. Great, yeah? Another thing is the online gaming - it's free. 100%.
