Wouldn't there be a way to run homebrew on the ps3 with the swap disc method?More specifically, the idea would be to swap an original ps3 game with a burned homebrew blu ray ?
More specifically, would it be possible to burn a bootloader.... sayyy GRUB on a brd and then swap it, swapping doesn't involve any soldering, or cracking, and I know it works with burned PSOne and PS2 burned discs, I was just wondering why nobody ever tried it with PS3 code on a Brd =)

With the ps1 and ps2 you could do almost any thing to it chip it play burned disc`s like games or movies. But with the ps3 these thing are like a dream bc the hardware inside are so sharpe and tiny that doing any soldering is pretty much impossible, which leads to the other part programming. And even if you buy these disc that you load it and then swap the disc, sony figures it out and releases a update which makes that money spend = money wasted. Some rumors have it that if you modify the ps3 and you play online they will simply block that forever, as a way of saying don't even try it.
