Are there any disadvantages to buy tekken 5 dr on ps3 online?i want to buy tekken 5 dr on ps3 but dont know if i should. Should i wait for 6 to come out?

Myself, I would wait. Tk6 (and subsequently Tk6BR) uses a totally new fighting system compared to its predecessors. There's the Bounce system, where you can bounce your opponent off the ground in the middle of a juggle to get in more hits. The Wall is different too, as you can hit your opponent more than before off a wall, and even bounce them off the ground for additional attacks.
All the stages are a beautifully animated and many are very interactive. In some stages, the walls can be smashed through, causing more damage... or some floors can broken, causing your opponent to bounce on the floor below.
The Rage system is also new. When your character's health is very low, you automatically enter into rage and each attack causes more damage. You can find videos of all the characters on Youtube doing combos during rage... they can do 100% damage! So it doesn't matter anymore if you're down to your last millimeter of health... the round/match can still go either way.
And of course, you can't forget about the 6 additional playable characters (and 2 new bosses) that will be available in Tk6BR. You can take a look at the links in the source below for more information about Tk6BR.
If you're looking to simply get a feel for the 3D environment of Tekken or practice some combos, then I'd recommend you to pick up Tk5 for PS2 or Tk5DR for PSP (this is what I use now). Both are in Sony's "Greatest Hits" list, so it should be cheaper, especially if bought used. Each character does have new moves (or replaced ones) compared to Tk6, but atleast you can get into the training mode and learn the essentials. Not to mention, staving off the disappointment of the year-long delay for Tk6 to be released on console...
