Can I play playstation 3 through an iMac?Hey,
I'm looking at getting a new playstation 3 or xbox 360, and I'm wondering if it could play through my iMAC, so I don't have to buy a TV. Here's the link, hit gallery, and then it's the 3rd picture. Are any of these inputs right for hooking either of these systems up?

The iMac doesn't have a TV tuner built in - the port on the back is Mini-dvi for video OUT not in.
There are a variety of TV input solutions out there for the Mac, but much like a great deal of PC TV tuner solutions, they suffer a slight lag in displaying the video. This offsets your controller actions from the action you see on the screen - it's a bit like playing underwater.
Long story short: stick to a TV for gaming.

no sorry you can't use an imac. to play ps3 or xbox on a monitor you need a hdmi input or a converter box i suggest you buy a standard pc with a normal monitor and the converter box or a hdmi compatible monitor try looking at these links.
