Can you download the DLC from Borderlands PS3 GOTY and still use it playing an original release version?Will this fly or do I need to have the GOTY game disc or buy the DLC to play it on my original disc?

If you've installed the content to you HDD then it's likely you would be OK. Having said that though I'm not sure if GOTY content is the same as DLC from PSN. After all any original release still plays download add-ons fine.

The GotY edition should already have the DLC included.
