Can you play world tour on the ps3 with a ps2 guitar hero 2 red sg?I know you need an adapter of some sort. If you answer my question it will be helpful but it would help me allot if you recommend a place to pick up an adapter for ps2-ps3. I just wasn't sure if you could actually use a ps2 guitar to play a ps3 guitar hero game. Anyway thanks alot.

This is a very common problem / question. They do make adapters and many of them claim to work with the guitar controllers, however their performance is very buggy and spotty at best. Some functions like star power may not work and sometimes the timing is off and can't be fixed, in some cases, some of the buttons don't work at all!
So, unfortunately, you would be better served getting the PS3 guitar. Or just buy a bundle kit like Rock Band 2. Then you have a kit that works with both games and even more songs to play.
