How do I unlock more ps3 avatars without purchasing them?I think mine is getting a little dated and would like to know how to unlock some of the cool ones I have seen

There isn't a way i know of to get free avatars, unless you partake in special game buying pre orders or whatnot

There is no way to get the"premium avatars" without buying them. The majority of them are free, the only premium ones to buy are little big planet and MAG avatars.
