How do you stop short passes on madden 2010 ps3?player passes to tight end to the right, and when i try to cover him with the player i control he passes to the running back up the middle and one of the two is always open..what should i do?

i know i cant stand when that happens! i always just pick a cover play on those and just be a lineman so i dont screw anything up. otherwise idk. hope it helped at least a tiny bit!
