How to fix Playstation 3 picture/audio problems?I bought as PS3 and I have AV cables. Well I hooked up the AV cables correctly into Video 1 slot in the back of my TV. I turn the TV and PS3 on and I get video, but no audio. I take the AV cables and plug them correctly into Video 2 slot in the back of the TV and I get audio, but no picture, just the blue screen. I have also held down the power button to reset the settings, but it's not working. Does anyone know how to help me? I find this a bit odd, all the cables are in correctly and I don't get both audio or sound at the same time, I only get one . Please help, I want to play my new PS3!

i have had the same problems with my playstation 3. my tv is a few years old and i tore up my original av cables on acciedent so i went to buy some but i noticed all the av cables for sale had different colors than the spots on my tv. so i figured out that you need to get a universal av cable. yes it fits the ps3 wii and some other console but the cables are for older tv's that have the traditional av cables. you can pay $ 12.99 for a universal av cable, and it saves alot of hard ache. i hope this helps.
