Since your PS3 is just a couple of months old, you can send it back to Sony service centre for repair. but you will need to wait for like 3 weeks before you can take it back.
Or you can try fixing it yourself. Most of the time, its just the power supply fuse is that faulty and you will need to replace that. If you do not want to go through the trouble of sending it back and wait for a long time, you can try fixing it yourself.
Or you can try cleaning the len of the drive and try playing with it again but do clean the len with extra care. Hope that helps.

1. Allow your PS3 to cool down. Overheating is known to cause the red blinking lights and the yellow light of death. Turn off your console for at least 20 minutes before turning it on.
2. Check for any loose cables. It's a frequent cause for both red & yellow lights.
3. Lastly, try resetting the PS3's hard drive. Take it out and put it back in.
