How will it be if I buy Modnation Racers PS3 but my PS3 can't play online?

Well, you won't be able to share your creations and you won't be able to see the other tracks that people have created. Also, you won't be able to play with others online.

Half of the game's worth is online.
Being able to race against others online is the major part of playing Modnation Racers.Though you can create a track it will not be that much fun to race, because you know everything about it (You built it!!). Having others enjoy (hopefully) your track and you enjoying (again, hopefully :P) other tracks is a major point.
Offline, you only look forward to two things : Career Mode and Split-screen. Story mode, is fun but story really isn't meaningful (as if that was expected).Spilt-screen is enjoyable, but if you could play online, Split screen is good only if you have more than two people over to play with you, if you don't you would want to play online. ( Don't get me wrong, I love split screen, I have 5 siblings).
I would get it, but try to find it used, for ~$ 35 (at the most). I wouldn't pay more than that if I could not play online.
