bud, do not worry. I have gta 4 for the ps3 and that problems fixed. GTA4 is fantastic. MUST BUY for sure.
MGS4 comes out in june, you have to get that game as well (you HAVE to, aha jks, but seriously, get it). Killzone you have until feb 2009, so itll be a while.
Haze... I'd rent it, i dont think its as great as it was hyped to be.

GTA 4 owns, i have it for 360 but it rocks on either system. GTA4 is a def. must buy.

Yeah, get GTA IV now and MGS 4 later. The freezing has been fixed with a patch that gets installed when you play the game, and it mainly happens on the 60GB model. No worries.

I think the freezing issue was blown out of proportion. I have the 60gb model (which was supposed to have the most issues), and my copy froze twice. On the third freeze I just let it sit for a while. About 20 seconds later the game came back and it hasn't had any issues since.
I would get GTA IV and MGS4. Killzone won't come out for a while (I'm definitley getting it when it does) and Haze is getting mixed reviews (I would only get it if you really want another shooter).
