Is it true that sqenix is remaking FF7 for the PS3. Is that just putting the PS1 version on PS3 disk Or?is it totally redone? I also heard that it comes out in November 2K8. Anyoe know anything?

When FF7 was shown in E3, it was presented as a tech demo of what the PS3 is capable of.
One person (probably humoursly) said if they'll do a remake and everyone just laughed about it. Theres a lot of speculation and rumours over it but Sony aren't denying the possibility of a Rebooted next version relaunch of FF7.
Its already been done for the game Chronicles of Riddick, if reviews and demand is high enough FF7 might go the same way on the PS3. However they have consider about the FF13 crystallis trilogy (2 on PS3, the other might go to PSP)
Worries are that they might comprimise one game with the other
Or, on the other hand
They might do a combined bundle sale of the games to boost like-ability of PS3.
Games like kingdom hearts 3 or X might come shortly after as well.
But like I said FF7 is still speculation on the PS3 so fingers crossed that its confirmed as a working title and will release.
