Is there any way to hook up PS3 HDMI cables to an older TV?I have an older RCA tv that doesnt have hookups for HDMI cables. Is there any ad-ons or adapters I can get so I can hook up HDMI cables to my tv. I have a PS3 (Playstation 3) and with my tv being older it makes the screen all fuzzy when I play games.

I doubt it, but there are so many Adapters available just now, I would check out one of those stores, like Radio Shack or Best Buy, and see if they have something, that will do what you want.

I don't think they make adapters for it. Even with an adapter it would be defeating the purpose of using hdmi because your switching back to the regular component cables. If you have an older tv and could use hdmi keep in mind this wouldn't raise the picture quality or sound quality because you would be using an adapter to switch it back to the old component cables. All it would do would be eliminating 2 cables if you could use it with an older tv.

No. Sorry but it can't be done. Your TV accepts a simple AV signal via the RCA/scart at the back but the screen itself is unlikely to handle the higher resolution or the speed (60-100hz although some HDTVs are faster) Most older TVs display a really annoying flicker If you did send it a higher resolution signal.
The bad news is that if you wish to get the full potential from the PS3 you need to get a 1080 HDTV (although most games are 720)
The good news is that the image quality is well worth the money spent on a new TV (We found that even playing DVDs, the image was so much more clearer)
