so what you're saying is that you're going to get a ps3 when home comes out? Home is scheduled to come out spring 2008 so probably next month or april. But don't get a ps3 for only playstation home get it for the blu-ray movies, the awesome games (coming soon) and the online multiplayer which is way better than xbox live

if thats the only thing you're interested in, then yes--wait. but if you are going to get one anyway, then i'd go ahead and start enjoying it now--if you can afford it.
don't quote me on this, but the price is not likely to come down before the summer (if even then)
they have already dropped the price and they have won the so-called format war. so i don't see a huge reason to wait other than you risk your favourite vendor running out!
i bought one on newegg about 2 weeks ago and last time they checked, they were out of the 80gig system!

home is gonna be absolutely amazing but a ps3 is just soo bloody amazing you definitiley dont need home to have great heps of fuun, all you need is a good game like call of duty 4
