How can I get good at Mortal Kombat 9 (PS3)?Yesterday (Easter 2011) was my birthday and I got Mortal Kombat 9 for PS3. I've been playing nonstop I need some good combos I can start using because I suck I remember being good at MK2 with Reptile. So if I can have some good combos and tricks for Reptile (PS3 controls) that'll be great

A good way to learn is to go to training, pick Reptile as your character, and any other opponent, then in the game, press start then change the AI so he doesn't move. If you'd like, try and change the difficulty and how they move so you can actually fight them. After that, press X, then press start again then chose the move lists. Look at the moves you'd like to learn and try to memorize them. Practice makes perfect!

I've found Reptile to be kind of hard to pull off good combos with, but that's just me. I think you should start off with a character who has simple combos (like Johnny Cage), and once you get used to those move on to Reptile and start doing the practice mode as him. Oh, it would be good to do the tutorial, it trains you as Johnny Cage and explains some of the basics of fighting. Hope you enjoy the game!

Read cheats, walkthroughs, guides, etc. and just learn as much as you can about it. And play for hours everyday, practice makes perfect!
