How do i get ps2 games to play on my ps3?I have the 160 gb ps3. I am trying to get it to play ps2 games, but it ways they it doesn't except the format, however it will play my ps1 games. I don't understand this at all, is there, anything i have to do to make it play ps2 games?

that model ps3 is not ps2 compatible
you can't do anything to play ps2 games on it - period .
only the 20 gig , 60 gig and 80 gig fat ps3 with 4 usb ports plays ps2 games - others don't have the required hardware
that's why it's $ 299 instead of the $ 699 price of the 60 gig in 2007
all ps3 consoles are ps1 compatible

People need to read the PS3 box instead of assuming that they will play PS2 games. The box will clearly state that whether or not that PS3 is compatible with PS2 game system disc's. Basically all PS3's made since mid to late 2008 have not been backwards capable and I believe Sony has not hid that fact.
