I'd guess that Resistance 2 is popular as well as Killzone 2.

well you'll probably have to wait for God of War III but i think that....maybe Resistance would help you. But DO NOT buy Haze. Dont. Never. Overlord is a good game, Dead Space, Condemned 2 (if you like games that creep you out a lot), and inFAMOUS.

Resistance Fall of Man
Resistance 2 (these games are like Halo, FPS, AR, BR, auto-generating health, fighting aliens, etc)
Killzone 2 (more advanced Halo-like, classes, FPS, etc)
the list goes on, but I'll take all night to type 'em. =)
