Black Ops and Fallout: New Vegas are great choices if you want to play some of the best franchises with a little bug work here and there, which isn't much of a problem.
i'd also recommend Metal Gear Solid 4, Medal of Honor, Battlefield Bad Company 2, LittleBigPlanet, Dead Space, Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption, Gran Turismo 5, The Sims 3, Heavy Rain, Mafia II, MAG, Grand Theft Auto IV, BioShock 2, Fallout 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and others.

Uncharted 2 has officially been announced as the best ps3 game
black ops is ok..but the online lag is awful (it isnt the connection, it is the game)
so i'd say uncharted 2. Fantastic single player and a really fun online too :)
