why wont my ps3 update to 3.30?bought a ps3 and i want to go to the playstation store but it says i need to update to 3.30 and when i update it..it says error and some other stuff.. why does it do that? my internet connection is 47% and usually with my psp it always works with 30% or more..i tried yesterday too but it didnt work PLEASE HELP

you answered your own question , it won't update because you have a 30%-47% connection .
you'll need to get a better connection or used a wired connection to download the update .
the chance of getting a bad download and screwing up your ps3 is too big without a really strong connection
you can use your computer and a usb flash drive to update too if you can't get a better connection .
a psp isn't a ps3 and can use a lower connection .

Here's another way to do it.
1. Get a flash drive or usb hdd.
2. Format it to FAT32.
3. Download the newest firmware from a computer (link is down).
4. Go inside your drive and make a folder and name it PS3 and inside of that you make another folder, which you name UPDATE and inside of that you put the update file that you downloaded.
5. Connected the drive to PS3 and head to Settings and tap X on System Update and inside of that you Select Update via Storage Media, and the rest should be easy.
