i dono what the conversion is but im in australia and i can buy a decent wireless router for about AU$ 98 which is about 57 pounds.
so you will have to try a place like TESCO or ebay

You can do a couple of things . You can get a device that transmitts the signal from the PC (connected via USB) or you can get a wireless router. You can get either for the price you want. Router is more reliable but if Too many things are using it's wireless bandwidth it will interfere with online play for the ps3 so make sure you setup security on the wireless connection so neighbors don't ride your bandwidth.
