how does the com. in the game modnation racers ps3 start off from the start line so fast?when im racing in modnation racers,my opponents start off really fast how do they do it?

Ah, I had the same problem too. But I got lucky and discovered that all you have to do is hold the accelerator, and when the starting lights turn green, hit boost! It should work even a second after wards as long as the starting lights are on the screen. BUT don't press the boost BEFORE the starting lights turn green, you will stall out and start off way late. (I don't know why they do that, "Oh, I'll just hit restart, ya!" totally pointless.)
Just practice timing and you will be set for most races.
P.S. Some races it is better to NOT use boost, such as drift paradise, and some grudge matches because the challenges want more points, so sometimes you don't want to pass all the racers so you can draft, or you need to take out somebody, etc. Do what works for you.

Hold R2 to accelerate, the as soon as ALL three lights turn green hold down L1 to boost.
(It still counts even if you are a bit late)
