I just bought this game and consol and i cant get past the burning mansion the first scene please help!

which part are you having trouble with? i remember the first time i played it i didn't know that there was ledges of the wall that you could jump to and hang on.

First things first, keep away from the flames, or lara will die. Second, each little bit is a training excersise to get you used to her various controls, so just keep trying to figure out which control fits the situation. Thirdly, look for clues in the area, like crumbling ledges, and pushable blocks, or shiny surfaces than can be grappled. Keep experimenting and trying different things, and you'll get there

oh jeez, i forgot how i got passed that...
i played ALL tomb raider games except TR3 ugh! and throughout, I've used these 2 websites Tombraidergirl.com and Stella's tombraider walkthrough. both are great walkthroughs that'll help you very much like it did to me.
