How long have you had your PS3 120GB Slim? Any problems?Hello.
I've been reading a lot of articles about the PS3 120GB slim having problems. Mainly the blu-ray lens having a short lifespan of only 14+ months and that the system runs very hot. Just curious. How long have you had your PS3 120GB Slim and have you encountered any problems?

I would just wait for the 160 GBs to be fully flexed out.

i have had my ps3 120 slim for a year now, no problems what so ever. I think the reason most people have problems with their consoles is cause they don't look after them properly.

But that depends bc some people leave there ps3 near a wall or object so the heat bounces back. But then it depends on how you treat it, I have my 80 gb now for over a year and it works but who know one day it might die on me. But then I would probably get rid of it anyway seeing that the ps4 will probably come out at the end of 2012, you know the 6 year gap. Anyway your lucky that you have it I don't like that they did a piano finish bc I can see all the dust, oh well hope they don't do it with the ps4.

I don't have the 120GB slim but I do have the 250GB slim which I would imagine is the same except for the hard drive size. I've had it since january with no problems
