PS3 exclusives..?I've noticed that on the original Xbox and X360, it says either 'only on xbox (or xbox 360)' for exclusive games on the top. Also for Gamecube, it said 'Only for nintendo gamecube on the top (not sure if the wii has it). Why is it that PS2 and PS3 exclusives don't have this?

that would be just wasting money. they do have exclusives, but they dont say its a playstation exclusive. any gamer that truly wants it will know what console its for

That's just Microsoft's and Nintendo's way of advertising. It's really dumb to me though. And I think that all of that extra wiriting on the game case takes away from the overall look of the case.
I already know which games aren't PS3 exclusives and which games are exclusives.
An easy way to tell if a game is a PS3 exclusive is to look on the front of the box and look for the "SONY" diamond symbol in the bottom right hand corner. Those games with the diamond "SONY" symbol on them are 1st party PS3 exclusives published by Sony.
However, there are going to be 3rd party PS3 exclusives such as Haze, Tekken 6, and Metal Gear Solid 4 and they wont have the Sony symbol on them and in this case, you need to be an aware gamer in order to know if a game is exclusive or not, or just go to Wikipedia and type in:" PS3 games" and a list will come up with PS3 games highlighted in Green that are exclusives.
