In Wheelman for the ps3 can you customize and upgrade cars??????

In Wheelman for the ps3 can you customize and upgrade cars??????The game wheelman looks really cool to me, but before i buy it, i want to know if you can upgrade the cars with custom parts, vinyls, body kits, ect. When i say that i mean kind of like in need for speed where you have tons of choices of different engines and things of that sort. And if you can upgrade cars, how much variety is there in the upgrading? Is there just a few choices, or hundreds?
