Is Sony gonna release a 3d firmware update to the ps3 so we can watch 3d movies?I'm thinking about buying a 3d blu ray player but I already own a ps3 should I wait for a firmware update or just buy one already?

I'm not sure how they work but I would assume it was to do with how the laser reads the disk

the latest update was a 3d update but I don't know how it works or if you need to buy a special tv to use it... just go on the website to see and check what the latest update does

Update on Sony's PS3 to make it fully 3Dwith information about the frame rates and also the resolution which it will operate at 720 p instead of the original 1080p. and at a lower frame rate at 30 Hz
