You can't save the game. That's the thing about demos, most of them leave the annoying stuff in there intentionally to give you incentive to buy the full game.
I hate that "DJ Atomica" dork too. It's a good demo, I would have bought it if it hadn't turned out that the online is just a game of smash-up.
