How much space do PS3 game saves take?I am looking into buying a PS3 but I don't know which hard drive to get for it. I will not be downloading stuff. I will just be using the hard drive for game saves. Is a 20GB hard drive enough? How much memory do the game saves take?

For starters, the 20GB PS3 is no longer in production unless you plan to buy a used one (not recommended) ! As game saves and space used that depends on the game actually ! Some use more space than others because you may need to download components to a particular game which will use more space.
You cal also upgrade your HDD if need be !

most of the games i have seen print how much space is initially needed on the back. i personally don't have a ps3, but my ps2 games save fine on an 8 MB card. you should be just fine with the gigs and stuff. i think that's just there for the music and videos and such.

I have around 13 PS3 games and their saves range in size from half a MB (actually about 4700 KB) to 2 GB. There really is no "average" since save files differ dramatically between games. I would avoid the 20 GB PS3 if I were you, just because it is no longer supported by Sony. If you do get it and plan on getting more than a few games, I would recommend doing a hard-drive upgrade so that you have more space (even if you erase game files and the like, things like firmware updates take up a lot of space).
