i have just bought a ps3 and was wondering if the updates make the graphics better and whats included in version 2.80?

I don't think so. It's about the games. Their makers make the graphics.

- PlayStation One Titles loading times have decreased.
- Internet Browser Loads pages smoother and has less issues with corrupted page loading.
- The Open Remote Play Hack has been scrambled for security reasons.
- The Bug that allowed Some online friends to be displayed as Offline has been fixed on small level.
- XMB Moves Much more smoother when used in-game.

no , the graphics are already hd and are as good as the programmers make them
get an hdtv and hdmi cable if you don't have one
the other guy listed the changes so I won't repeat them , but it also includes volume leveling for music playback
