What PS3 game will last a long time and has good online?I'm getting a PS3 tomorrow and just wondering what game is awesome, has great reviews, and will last a long time in single player and online. I was thinking MGS4 or uncharted 2, but I heard its better to play the first one before you play the second.
I don't really care what type of game it is. I prefer shooters but I just would like to have a game that has a long story and great fun online.

it has no story and every persone in the game is real no npc's and it is war based game it beat's mordern warfare in gameplay by far...buy it; and conact me as soon as you buy it so i can help and if you like what am sayin rate me 5 star!!!

If you are in to hardcore shoot em ups or want to participate in a 256 player battle then get MAG. The feeling of just commanding a 8 player squad is immense and thats nothing compared to leading a 124 player army!!
A great game is Metal Gear Solid 4, it has an amazing story directed by one of the best game directors in the world Hideo Kojima. Although there aren't many active players online there are still alot to keep it active. I regularally go online on this game and I have spent over 100 hours doing the story over and over again as it is pure Genius! TIP:If you do get this game and play the story you should watch all of the cut scenes otherwise the game wont have the same effect. You can probably pick this game up new for an average of £15.
Another great game that will give you plenty of hours of game time is Fallout 3 or Elder scrolls 4: Oblivion. These two games are made by Bethesda and they make brilliant RPG's. In my opinion out of Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls is much better but Fallout 3 has trophies and a brilliant story line, and many more people prefer Fallout over Elder Scrolls.
In my opinion Metal Gear Solid 4 is the best out of all 4 games I have mentioned. But MAG is following closely behind it. BUT this is hard for someone like me to advise you on what game to get without knowing what games you are interested in.

the call of duty series are #1 in online gameplay, uncharted 2 is not good for online, mag is alright, AVP is awesome and it just came out, so you could try that out if you wanted i played the online demo it rocks, im looking forward to buying it

I got Uncharted w, played its multilayer today, wasn't bad, it was a good game recommend it, or Bioshock 2...............damn nice game, haven't played the multi player though sooo yeah....
